A few days ago, I drove up to the Disneyland resort in Southern California and drove up in a van.
It was the day I spent the weekend with my dad, who is a Disneyland Resort employee and lives in a neighboring town.
It was an opportunity to catch up on some of the highlights of the weekend, like a chance to get my dad to take me to a family picnic at the theme park and, of course, a chance for a bite to eat.
I don’t want to spoil anything, but this is a family vacation.
My dad and I had a lot to catch our minds off of, and a lot of time to talk about life outside of Disneyland.
He’s got a new job, and my family is moving in with him.
But we both wanted to take a trip.
We got to visit the Haunted Mansion, the Haunted House, and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
After spending two weeks with my Dad, I was ready to see the Wizard of Oz.
It wasn’t my first time there.
In the summer of 2009, my Dad and I went on a trip to see “The Wizard of Worf.”
My Dad has never seen the film.
But I am an avid Harry Potter fan, and I’m sure he had the most fun.
He even took a few photos of me wearing a wig and my dad playing the part of Peter Pettigrew.
I think we both laughed.
It really was a good time.
As we drove back to the hotel, I could see my dad grinning from ear to ear.
It felt like it was the happiest day of my life.
I was glad I had gotten to see that movie.
He is an avid movie buff, so I didn’t mind getting him into the movie theater.
I had the same experience with “The Jungle Book,” when I took my dad up to see it.
He was so excited, and his face lit up when he saw that I had my glasses on.
We both got to see this magical land.
For some of us, a trip out to the park might be our last vacation.
My dad’s job is to manage the guest services department, which includes food and beverage, and we are used to seeing our families for the rest of the week.
But for me, I am more of a staycation-type of person.
I spend a lot more time in my car than I do on a vacation.
But as long as I can do it at Disneyland, I will go to the parks on a regular basis.
So I have to take advantage of what I can get out of it.
I’ve enjoyed some of my family’s time at Disneyland this summer, but I can’t say I’ve really seen any of it with my own eyes.
